Ea reprezint\u0103 o deteriorare lent\u0103, progresiv\u0103 a creierului asociat\u0103 cu mic\u0219orarea volumului acestuia. Este o boal\u0103 asociat\u0103 cu \u00eemb\u0103tr\u00e2nirea, v\u00e2rst\u0103 \u00eenaintat\u0103 fiind principalul factor de risc. \u00cen prezent afecteaz\u0103 mai mult de 35 de milioane de oameni din \u00eentreag\u0103 lume \u0219i, odat\u0103 cu cre\u0219terea speran\u021bei de via\u021b\u0103, se preconizeaz\u0103 c\u0103 \u0219i cazurile de demen\u021b\u0103 vor cre\u0219te dramatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vulnerabilitatea personal\u0103 \u00een fa\u021b\u0103 acestei boli este influen\u021bat\u0103 de fondul genetic (prezen\u021ba genei ApoE4), de stilul propriu de via\u021b\u0103 \u0219i de mediul \u00eenconjur\u0103tor. Dac\u0103 \u00een privin\u021ba fondului genetic nu putem interveni, \u00een privin\u021ba celorlal\u021bi factori implica\u021bi s-au elaborat multe teorii, studiile efectuate p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een prezent nefurnizand \u00eens\u0103 date certe, definitive. ALIMENTA\u021aIA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Studiile efectuate&nbsp;p\u00e2n\u0103&nbsp;\u00een&nbsp;prezent au&nbsp;dus&nbsp;la&nbsp;urm\u0103toarele&nbsp;sugestii:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 consumul de fructe \u0219i legume proaspete<\/strong>&nbsp;(preferabil cu coaj\u0103 dac\u0103 este comestibil\u0103) ofer\u0103 creierului antioxidan\u021bi, care pot \u00eencetini rata declinului cognitiv, contribuind la prevenirea bolii Alzheimer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fiecare inspira\u021bie introduce oxigen \u00een pl\u0103m\u00e2ni, ceea ce stimuleaz\u0103 formarea radicalilor liberi. Acestia pot avea efecte negative, de distrugere a membranelor celulare, produc\u00e2nd muta\u021bii ale ADN-ului \u0219i deterior\u00e2nd re\u021belele de comunicare dintre neuroni. Creierul este o \u021bint\u0103 important\u0103 a radicalilor liberi, reac\u021biile oxidative acceler\u00e2nd disfunc\u021bia cognitiv\u0103. Antioxidan\u021bii ofer\u0103 protec\u021bie encefalului \u0219i anihileaz\u0103 radicalii liberi periculo\u0219i. Sunt recomandate \u00een ordinea capacit\u0103\u021bii lor antioxidante: boabe de soc, stafide, afine, meri\u0219or, prune, coac\u0103ze negre, mure, usturoi, zmeur\u0103, c\u0103p\u0219uni, curmale, vi\u0219ine, smochine, varz\u0103 rosie, mere cu coaj\u0103, salat\u0103 cu frunze ro\u0219ii, pere, sparanghel, broccoli, portocale, sfecl\u0103, avocado, struguri ro\u0219ii, ridichi, spanac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 consuma\u021bi mere crude sau sub forma de suc<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen creierul degradat al persoanelor suferind de Alzheimer se produce o sc\u0103dere a sintezei de acetilcolin\u0103, un compus esen\u021bial pentru func\u021biile cognitive. Sucul de mere stimuleaz\u0103 sinteza de acetilcolin\u0103 prin aportul de antioxidan\u021bi care previne distrugerea neuronilor \u00een urma atacului radicalilor liberi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dou\u0103 mere sau un pahar de suc pe zi au rol \u0219i \u00een combaterea inflama\u021biilor, scad riscul de apari\u021bie a diabetului de tip 2, HTA, AVC, parodontozei \u0219i ajut\u0103 la reducerea \u021besutului adipos de la nivelul abdomenului.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 consuma\u021bi pe\u0219te<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Include\u021bi \u00een meniu pe\u0219tele gras (somon, ton, macrou, sardine, hering) de 2-3 ori pe s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103. Acesta con\u021bine cele mai importante lipide de care are nevoie creierul pentru prevenirea bolii Alzheimer. Uleiul de pe\u0219te cu acizi gra\u0219i polinesatura\u021bi Omega 3 \u0219i gr\u0103simile mononesaturate din uleiul de m\u0103sline amelioreaz\u0103 func\u021bia \u0219i eficien\u021ba neuronilor, reduc\u00e2nd predispozi\u021bia la Alzheimer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 consuma\u021bi&nbsp;ulei de m\u0103sline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beneficiile uleiului de m\u0103sline: o inim\u0103 s\u0103n\u0103toas\u0103, puternic\u0103, densitate osoas\u0103 normal\u0103, sc\u0103derea tensiunii arteriale, colesterolemie \u0219i coagulare \u00een parametri optimi, creier mai activ, mai rezistent \u00een fa\u021ba pericolului declinului mental. Uleiul de m\u0103sline contribuie la men\u021binerea integrit\u0103\u021bii structurale a membranelor neuronale \u0219i con\u021bine antioxidan\u021bi care se opun activ atacului radicalilor liberi, care vizeaza deteriorarea \u0219i distrugerea acestor celule cerebrale. Este de preferat uleiul extravirgin, c\u00e2t mai pu\u021bin procesat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 evita\u021bi gr\u0103simile nes\u0103n\u0103toase<\/strong>: limita\u021bi consumul de carne ro\u0219ie (vit\u0103, porc, miel), \u0219unc\u0103, mezeluri, sl\u0103nin\u0103. Consuma\u021bi lactate degresate. Feri\u021bi-v\u0103 de gr\u0103simile trans (din margarin\u0103, chipsuri, produse de patiserie, fast-food) \u0219i de alimentele pr\u0103jite un timp \u00eendelungat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u0103simile saturate de origine animal\u0103 \u0219i gr\u0103simile trans (par\u021bial hidrogenate) &#8222;sufoc\u0103&#8221; neuronii, membranele lor devin mai rigide \u0219i se contract\u0103, prelungirile dendritice prin care neuronii comunic\u0103 \u00eentre ei nu se dezvolt\u0103, sinteza neurotransmi\u021b\u0103torilor este inhibat\u0103. Beta-amiloidul, un compus degradat, toxic, caracteristic pentru boala Alzheimer, se acumuleaz\u0103. Neuronii deteriora\u021bi devin ineficien\u021bi \u0219i disfunc\u021bionali, ceea ce duce la regresia memoriei \u0219i sc\u0103derea capacit\u0103\u021bii de \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 prefera\u021bi&nbsp;dieta mediteranean\u0103<\/strong>: consum preponderent al hranei vegetale (legume, fructe, cereale) la care se adauga ulei de m\u0103sline \u00een cantitate mare, consum moderat de pe\u0219te, consum redus\/moderat de lactate, consum sc\u0103zut de carne, vin \u00een cantit\u0103\u021bi mici \u00een timpul meselor, consum de carne ro\u0219ie \u0219i dulciuri de p\u00e2n\u0103 la 2-3 ori pe lun\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u2013 be\u021bi ceai verde sau negru<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consumul de ceai verde protejeaz\u0103 creierul \u00eempotriva AVC \u0219i \u00eempotriva pierderii memoriei, regener\u00e2nd neuronii degrada\u021bi. FACTORII DE STRES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stresul emo\u021bional cronic<\/strong> contribuie la sc\u0103derea memoriei \u0219i poate duce la instalarea deterior\u0103rii cognitive u\u0219oare (mild cognitive impairment) care precede demen\u021ba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atunci c\u00e2nd este expus stresului, organismul sintetizeaz\u0103 din abunden\u021b\u0103 cortizol. Aceast\u0103 reac\u021bie la stres \u0219i adrenalina eliberat\u0103 \u00een s\u00e2nge ne pot salva dintr-o situa\u021bie de criz\u0103. \u00cens\u0103 persisten\u021ba stresului zilnic (frustr\u0103ri la locul de munc\u0103, blocaje \u00een trafic, probleme financiare etc.) men\u021bine o cantitate excesiv\u0103 de cortizol la nivelul creierului. \u00cen timp procentul crescut de cortizol poate duce la distrugerea neuronilor, suprim\u00e2nd dezvoltarea altora noi, ceea ce are ca rezultat final atrofia cerebrala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oamenii care au o dispozi\u021bie pozitiv\u0103, extrovertit\u0103 \u0219i o atitudine mai relaxat\u0103 sunt mai pu\u021bin expu\u0219i riscului de a prezenta tulbur\u0103ri de memorie \u0219i demen\u021b\u0103 pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce \u00eemb\u0103tr\u00e2nesc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Depresia<\/strong> constituie un factor de risc care predispune la apari\u021bia bolii Alzheimer, de aceea e important s\u0103 o trat\u0103m atunci c\u00e2nd ea apare. PREVENI\u021aI BOLILE CARDIOVASCULARE \u0218I CEREBROVASCULARE<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Acorda\u021bi o aten\u021bie deosebit\u0103 s\u0103n\u0103t\u0103\u021bii inimii<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S-a demonstrat c\u0103 factorii care produc leziuni degenerative la nivelul vaselor de s\u00e2nge \u0219i inimii afecteaz\u0103 \u0219i creierul. Acumularea pl\u0103cilor de aterom pe arterele carotide este un factor de risc pentru accelerarea declinului cognitiv \u0219i a pierderii memoriei. Fibrila\u021bia atrial\u0103, boala arterial\u0103 periferic\u0103, afectarea vascular\u0103 cerebral\u0103, reprezint\u0103 factori de risc pentru accidentul vascular cerebral. Un AVC constituit dubleaz\u0103 cel pu\u021bin probabilitatea apari\u021biei bolii Alzheimer \u0219i a demen\u021bei vasculare. Chiar \u0219i AVC minore cresc riscul deterior\u0103rii ulterioare a neuronilor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Supraveghea\u021bi nivelul colesterolului din s\u00e2nge<\/strong>: men\u021bine\u021bi sc\u0103zut procentul colesterolului LDL \u0219i cre\u0219te\u021bi nivelul colesterolului HDL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nivelul crescut al LDL-colesterolului \u0219i al colesterolului total din s\u00e2nge (peste 200mg\/dl) la varsta medie poate contribui at\u00e2t la dezvoltarea bolilor cardiovasculare, c\u00e2t \u0219i la cre\u0219terea riscului demen\u021bei. Sc\u0103derea colesterolului LDL \u0219i cresterea HDL se poate ob\u021bine prin regimul de tip mediteraneean, cu pu\u021bine gr\u0103simi saturate sau trans-hidrogenate, dar cu mult pe\u0219te, fructe, legume \u0219i cereale integrale, prin men\u021binerea greut\u0103\u021bii \u00een limitele normale \u0219i administrarea, \u00een caz de necesitate, a tratamentului hipocolesterolemiant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Supraveghea\u021bi tensiunea arterial\u0103<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men\u021binerea \u00een limite normale a tensiunii arteriale la v\u00e2rsta mijlocie \u0219i \u00eenaintat\u0103 scade riscul instal\u0103rii demen\u021bei. HTA necontrolat\u0103 ini\u021biaz\u0103 tulbur\u0103rile precoce de memorie, dubleaz\u0103 riscul de Alzheimer, AVC \u0219i demen\u021b\u0103 vascular\u0103. La persoanele cu HTA necontrolat\u0103 se pot observa la RMN cerebral indicii ale unor micro-hemoragii sau unor microinfarctiz\u0103ri prin cheaguri, numite accidente vasculare minore, tranzitorii, semnalizate prin zone remanente mici, albe, indic\u00e2nd &#8222;cicatrici&#8221; \u0219i duc\u00e2nd la pierderi de memorie \u0219i disfunc\u021bie cognitiv\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Evita\u021bi apari\u021bia AVC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atunci c\u00e2nd vasele mici ale creierului sunt obstruc\u021bionate prin trombusuri, celulele cerebrale sunt lipsite de aportul necesar de oxigen \u0219i de glucoz\u0103; astfel se instaleaz\u0103 o deteriorare cerebral\u0103 difuz\u0103 \u0219i extins\u0103, ce poate duce la apari\u021bia demen\u021bei vasculare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Verifica\u021bi glicemia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Studiile au ar\u0103tat c\u0103 persoanele care sufer\u0103 de diabet de tip 2 au un risc sporit de apari\u021bie a bolii Alzheimer. Men\u021binerea glicemiei \u00een limite normale contribuie la prevenirea instal\u0103rii demen\u021bei. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Evita\u021bi traumatismele craniene<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traumatismele craniene urmate de como\u021bie cerebrala pot duce la lezarea sever\u0103 a creierului. Como\u021bia cerebral\u0103 survenit\u0103 la orice v\u00e2rst\u0103 cre\u0219te vulnerabilitatea individual\u0103 \u00een fa\u021ba bolii Alzheimer.
